this album has been in the works for a while, and i am happy to say i have a track on it, but aside from that it’s an incredible tour de force of what can be done with FM synthesis. comparing my fairly traditional, gamey PC-98 track to the staccato idm textures of agargara (all in a single channel!), or hunter van brocklin’s incredibly lush soundscape, achieved with a thick stack of megadrive FM chips, and you get an overview of just how diverse this sound palette can be! and definitely check out the liner notes too for more information on each track.
