after a single that i liked more in my head than in practice (i think there’s something wrong with the vocal mix or something on how sweet) newjeans make a full return to form with what is already one of my favorite songs by them. i love the layers in the drums and the melodic switchups over the same chord structure, keeping it fresh throughout. there’s a lot to listen for in the instrumental, definitely looking forward to it when the single comes out
